SilibaseSEP-Y9701 Cosmetic Powder is a silicone powder with silica treated coating. Thus providing superior handling and processing ease. Easy dispersion in different media - even in the presence of pigments - makes it possible to introduce the product into a wide variety of skin care, sun care and color cosmetic formulations without using sophisticated processes or equipment. The design of the powder also provides wrinkle masking benefits as well as superior skin feel and fluid/oil/sebum absorption capabilities. This methacrylate-modified silicone elastomer powder is supplied by the Chinese factory with 100% particle flowability and an addition level of 2-10%, which is compatible with W/O and W/Si systems.

How To Use
Dow Corning® 9701 Cosmetic Powder China Market, SilibaseSEP-Y9701 provides a silky powdery skin feel and excellent sebum absorption performance, with an average particle size of 5μm.
Dosage: about 2.0-10.0% by weight based on the different needs of touch and feel.
No heating is required.
When making an emulsion, incorporate the powder into the oil phase first and mix with high shear to break up the agglomerates.
Premixing the oil phase is preferred over post addition of the powder after the emulsion has been made.

Handling Precautions
In China, its anti-wrinkle and oil absorption performance is comparable to Dow Corning® 9701 Cosmetic Powder, suitable for skin care/sunscreen formulations.
Wear eye protection, protective gloves and mask at all times when working with this product.
Maintain adequate ventilation in the work area at all times.
Eliminate sources of ignition.
Product can build up static electricity which may be discharged as a spark. If this product is added to a solvent, precautionary measures need to be taken to eliminate sparks.
Limitations
This product is neither tested nor represented as suitable for medical or pharmaceutical uses.
Storage
When stored below 35℃, SilibaseSEP-Y9701 series products has a shelf life of 12 months from manufacture.
Storage beyond the date specified on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.
